Soul Friends

My soul friend is Viane. He is a henson boy and is aged 8.  Viane is a sporty boy who likes to play all sorts of sports like rugby and basketball. Viane is an intelligent boy his favourite subject is maths, writing and spelling.  Viane is also a loving boy who likes everyone especially his family.  

My Holiday

In the holiday I had four different experiences. The experiences I faced during the holiday were boring, sad, happy and fun.

One day my family and I decided to go to Coucou bay at takanini.  It was a hot sunny and bright day.  I was pouring with sweat like boiling water.  We finally arrived at the golden sandy beach.  I sprinted out and jumped into the cold, cool, wavy sea.  Minutes later, we did some fun activities.  It was time for us to go.  Only if I could stay or rewind our happy day to the beginning. I left with a big happy smile.

A couple of days later my cousin invited me to go to the exciting theme park rainbows end.  The first ride we decided to go on was the pirate ship. It went up and down just like a slide but enormous.  The pirate ship made my stomach tickle.  We participated on all rides like scorpion karts, invader, roller coaster and many more.  My enjoyable ride was the power surge.  I left with butterflies and headaches.  But I still left rainbows end with a big smile.

A week earlier it was time to say goodbye to my dad and brother.  They sorted their belonging.   As soon as they finished we slowly walked up stairs.  We looked at the schedule it was to relax we spent as much as we could before they left.  Minutes later we had to say goodbye tears were slowly came down.  I watched them walk past then they vanished from my eyes.  I left with a sad frown on my face.

The next day I had nothing to do, all I did was playing video games.  I was a lonely bored person just pressing buttons going up and down.  I was very bored with myself doing nothing.

My Experience at the Cluster Rugby Tournement

I had a great time at the cluster rugby tournament. I played in the overs and our captain was Eneasi. First I did some stretches and warm ups with the team, we were getting ready for our first game.  Before we walked to the field we went through the rules just to make sure everyone knows what to do in the field.  

We verse four teams which was Panmure Bridge, Glenbrae, Roportaka and Tamaki.  Our first match was against Panmure Bridge on field four we found them very easy and kept them scoreless.  After that we were against Glenbrae, Glenbrae gave us a good try but ended up short only by one try because they rely on one person instead of using the whole team.  We were undefeated so far in the tournament.

Roportaka was next in our list they tried their best but they were not good enough and we kept them scoreless.  We had a bye and our team were playing around instead of doing our game plan.  It was time to play rugby Tamaki's defence was tough to break.  When we had the hang of it we used our chances but we played well too late and loss. Our undefeated streak broke.

Our team had a lesson when we play around we won’t know what we are doing. We made it to the semi finals and we were against Glenbrae.  We won and kept them scoreless and made it to the finals the weather turned ugly.  Tamaki was beating us by one try then game over the game stopped early because of the rain and ended up coming second.  I was happy for our team and how we played as a team.

What was the book about?

This book is about a boy named George he is a young boy.  George’s grandma is not kind and helpful like the other’s, she’ grumpy and is a grizzly old grouch. George wants to teach her grandma a lesson, so when it’s time for her medicine , George is going to make his own medicine thats going to be bubbling and frothing, marvellous mixture. George’s medicine is going to blow her grandma through the roof.

What did you like about the book?

I like this book because I like Roald Dahl books.

What was your favourite part of the book?

My favourite part in this story was when George gave the medicine to her grandma.
